Available as a 1.0 EcoBoost Mild Hybrid. The hybrid powertrain uses an electric motor to support the petrol engine, delivering more power and improved fuel economy. The separate 48V Li-ion battery is automatically charged with regenerative braking, so you don’t have to look for places to recharge.

Featuring a range of advanced, 2.0-litre Ford EcoBlue diesel engines, the Transit Chassis Cab is more powerful and more efficient than ever. With four powertrains available, offering up to 185 PS of horsepower and 415 Nm of torque, you’re guaranteed to find the one for you. Whichever you choose, every engine meets the stringent Euro 6.2 emissions standards too. The vehicle is available with a Heavy Duty Truck (HDT) engine for heavier conversions, and even as a mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (mHEV) for even greater fuel economy and reduced CO2 emissions.

For example, Electric Power-Assisted Steering adjusts to changing conditions to make steering light and easy at low speeds, and firmer at higher speeds. Whilst Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control helps make long drives on the motorway less tiring and more economical. And with Selectable Drive Modes, including Normal, Slippery, Mud/Rut, Tow/Hail, and the new EcoMode, you can tailor how the Transit handles to suit the task perfectly.
The Transit Chassis Cab is now available with a FordPass Connect modem*. The system unlocks a range of powerful benefits, including up to 4G Wi-Fi†† for up to ten devices, and real-time traffic updates‡‡ delivered straight to your SYNC 3 navigation system. When combined with the FordPass app on your phone, you’ll be able to check if you remembered to lock the doors, and then lock or unlock them remotely. You can even monitor the status of your vehicle and receive notifications if the system detects maintenance is required.
