Its Kodo: Soul of Motion design language has created a car with a playful, yet elegant spirit. The Mazda2 goes beyond a sophisticated exterior design, offering great fuel economy and enhanced safety features. The Mazda2 is a car that moves you even before you drive it – in cities, and beyond.
What it feels like to drive the Mazda2.
Thanks to Skyactiv Technology, G-Vectoring Control Plus, Mazda M Hybrid and an expanded range of technological features, the Mazda2 combines a thrilling yet smooth driving experience with a reassuring sense of control and responsible use of fuel. Experience Jinba Ittai, the oneness between car and driver, like never before.
Always a comfortable drive for you and your passengers.
The Mazda2 interior enhances your driving experience, like the heated steering wheel* and human-centric seating concept. As soon as you sit down you feel how well the refined seats support your body, helping you maintain a healthy posture and preventing fatigue. *Available on the GT Sport Nav grade.
Improved Fuel Economy
All Skyactiv petrol engines with manual transmission are equipped with new Mazda M Hybrid* technology, which uses a small Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) to capture energy normally lost during braking. That energy is stored and used to power the car’s electrical systems, reducing the load on the engine and saving fuel. *Mazda M Hybrid is available on manual models only.
REMOTE CENTRAL LOCKING
Key fob provides remote central locking with deadlocks for security, as well as keyless engine start / stop.
LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM
Designed to warn the driver if the vehicle inadvertently strays from its lane. A front-view camera monitors the road ahead and calculates the car’s position relative to lane markings. Should the system detect that the car is about to unintentionally move out of lane, it emits an audible warning sound to alert the drive.
Available from SE-L Nav grade
COLOUR ACTIVE DRIVING DISPLAY
Provides essential driving information, including speed and turn-by-turn navigation via the colour head-up display which is perfectly positioned in the drivers line of sight.
