Business Development Executive - Slough

Ford of Britain have recently launched a new national network of PartsPlus Centres that will provide an exceptional range of services all designed to support the sale of trade parts directly to independent repairers and vehicle body shops.

Reporting to the Centre Manager, the Business Development Executive is responsible for building and maintaining strong, enduring relationships with both new and existing customers to achieve sales targets for the customer based in their defined territory. You should be a self-starter with a proven track record in building strong relationships, negotiation, and achieving sales targets in a B2B environment, have extensive account management experience with a passion for great customer service and have a full, clean UK driving licence.

Key activities will include:

Sales performance

• Achieve sales targets for the customers based in their defined territory
• Work within the identified sales strategy to increase sales revenues from higher segmented customer accounts
• Identify and leverage potential sales opportunities within the customer base
• Identify potential new customer account within the Centre’s territory
• Maintain own product knowledge and awareness of competitor activity

• Develop and build strong relationships with all customers
• Provide the highest level of customer service
• Ensure customer discounts are applied appropriately based on spend levels

Systems and processes
• Maintain accurate customer records and adhere to the Data Protection Act and GDPR
• Interrogate sales data to ensure that sales call objectives are set prior to customer visits
• Ensure compliance with business standards and processes, financial, legal and ethical guidelines
• Assist, liaise with, and support the Centre team to ensure good working relationships and delivery of excellent
customer service.
