Design
The new Swift features a more modern take on the imposing and bold silhouette that made its previous incarnation a hit with motorists. From the alluring alloy wheels and distinctive front grille to the sporty rear bumper, each inch was crafted with one purpose – to leave a lasting impression. On the inside, plenty of passenger and boot space allows for comfort and practicality in equal measure.
Performance
Harnessing the power of petrol, the new Suzuki Swift is available in two engine choices by default – a 1.2-litre Dualjet unit and a 1.0-litre Turbocharged Boosterjet one. The range topping SZ5 trim of the Swift is also available with an SHVS Mild Hybrid unit with optional 4-wheel drive, allowing for 109 bhp and 170Nm of torque and a fuel return of up to 65 mpg with emissions of only 97 g/km.
Technology
The new Suzuki Swift does not hold back when it comes to offering you the technology you need. Its base trim, the SZ3, comes with a DAB digital radio and Bluetooth capabilities, LED daytime running lights and 4 speakers. The SZ-T adds 16’’ alloy wheels, manual air conditioning and a Smartphone linkage display audio among others, while the SZ5 adds technologies such as a satnav, Adaptive cruise control, Keyless entry with start button, LED rear combination lamps and rear electric windows, among others.
Safety
In addition to the front, side and curtain airbags available, the Suzuki Swift comes with an Anti-Lock Braking System with EBD, an Electronic Stability Program, ISOFIX child seat fittings, Side impact protection beams, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring system. The SZ5 also features Hill hold control and Dual Camera Brake Support.
