What is Eligibility?
If you’re eligible for the Motability Scheme, you’ll be receiving one of the qualifying government allowances listed below. There must be at least 12 months’ award length remaining.

• Higher rate mobility part of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
• Higher rate mobility part of Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
• War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
• Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
Do I Qualify for Motability? If you receive one of the mobility allowances listed above and it has a minimum of 12 months’ award time remaining, you’ll be eligible for the Motability Scheme. This will let you choose a brand-new car and enjoy a number of other benefits, such as modifications that make your vehicle of choice easier to access and drive. With Motability contract hire there’s no need to drive yourself. Instead, you can nominate up to two drivers who may be relatives, friends or carers. Parents and carers of children aged three and above can apply on their behalf too.
