Say “Hi” to the OMODA 5!

OMODA officially launches in the UK with the OMODA 5 SUV powered by a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine or OMODA E5 with over 250-mile range, all-electric 61kWh motor. This sporty and futuristic-looking model comes with a seven-year/100,000-mile warranty and seven years of roadside assistance, automatically renewed with each service at our dealerships.

The OMODA 5 includes wireless charging, smart voice commands to operate vehicle functions, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, remote start & keyless entry, and connectivity features such as Apple CarPlay & Android Auto. The launch model will also feature a suite of 16 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) including adaptive cruise control.

Auto Express proclaimed the OMODA 5 as “an establishment-beating SUV”. It terms of its ride, they found that “grip is good and there’s not much in the way of body roll. The engine packs plenty of punch. The suspension strikes a good balance between control and comfort, and felt compliant over the few ridges and potholes”.

Regarding the mode’s generous tech and spec, Auto Express said: “All cars come with dual screens with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rear-view camera and an eight-speaker stereo. You also get 18-inch wheels, automatic LED lights and a suite of safety kit. Range-topping versions get a powered tailgate, a sunroof, heated synthetic-leather seats and a heated steering wheel, plus two-zone climate control, 360-degree HD cameras and an air-purification system.”

Autocar said: “Even the basic Comfort [trim] gets heated and electrically adjusted seats, part-leatherette and – get this – a cooled wireless smartphone charging pad, to keep your phone from overheating. The upper Noble trim adds a sunroof, a 360-degree parking camera and red brake calipers. Space in the back seats is pretty decent and you get a space-saver spare wheel too. The sun-visor mirrors have dimmable, bright white or warm white surround lighting – very flattering for those in-car zoom calls, Instagram videos and makeup applications”.
