To meet the growing needs of the SUV market, Mazda is offering customers a wider choice of SUVs, combining the latest environmental performance with the driving pleasure inherent in every Mazda.
The first model is the All-New Mazda CX-60, Mazda’s first Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV). This new premium model will feature two-row seating and house a 2.5-litre petrol engine combined with a performance-enhancing electric motor, delivering a power output in excess of 300 horsepower.
Mazda’s first PHEV powertrain offers smooth, efficient, and powerful acceleration giving the driver greater confidence and driving enjoyment in the widest possible range of driving scenarios, while also reducing tailpipe emissions to zero when in electric mode.
The CX-60 will be making its debut on 8th March 2022, so we don’t have long to wait!
It will be joined in the future by an even larger Plug-In Hybrid model with third-row seats, called the CX-80, in addition to the new-generation, straight-six Skyactiv-X petrol engine and Skyactiv-D diesel engine in combination with a 48V Mild Hybrid system to maximise fuel efficiency and enhance driving performance.
With the introduction of these models, Mazda is on track to complete the electrification of its complete range by 2030.
