It has a ground clearance of 237mm and effortlessly wades through water up to 800mm deep. To help you drive with confidence in all conditions and environments, the Ford Ranger enables you to switch between 4WD and 2WD systems on the fly. So when you’re cruising comfortably on smooth roads, you can keep the vehicle in 2WD. But as soon as you want to go off-road or the road conditions deteriorate, you can effortlessly switch into 4WD.
With a gross payload of over 1 tonne, and 3,500kg towing capability, you can take on the biggest tasks and challenges and carry and tow the biggest, bulkiest loads too.
The New Ranger MS-RT’s unique exterior includes a hand-built front fascia featuring a honeycomb carbon fibre-effect grille and integrated fog lights. The striking side profile adds to the sporty character while 20-inch OZ Racing alloy wheels, extended wheel-arches and sculpted side skirts create a purposeful stance.

The New Ranger Stormtrak and New Ranger Wolftrak limited editions arrived in dealerships across Europe from October 2021, adding further breadth to Ford’s award-winning line‑up of Ranger variants for a wide range of customers, including the thrilling Ranger Raptor, rally-inspired New Ranger MS-RT, New Ford Ranger Tipper, and recently-announced New Ranger Chassis Cab.
The New Ranger Stormtrak is a premium truck offering distinctive styling and premium features for customers that value outstanding capability and a generous specification to support their active work and lifestyle needs.
The New Ranger Wolftrak is an intrepid, rugged pick-up designed around the needs of customers who work outdoors and desire commanding off-road performance without compromising comfort and desirability.
Ford is also introducing a desirable new Power Roller Shutter option for Ranger Wildtrak Double Cab, which is specified as standard on the New Ranger Stormtrak.
The New Ford Ranger Chassis Cab is the ideal donor vehicle for conversions to suit a range of specialist applications, including construction, utilities, forestry, military and rescue operators. Using rugged body-on-frame construction, and with standard four-wheel drive, the New Ranger Chassis Cab is built for customers who work in the most demanding environments while needing a tough, off-road vehicle to carry their specialist kit.
Based on the Ranger XL, the tough body-on-frame construction provides a solid foundation for conversions up to 3,270 kg Gross Vehicle Mass, with a heavy-weight towing capacity of 3,500 kg. And with selectable four-wheel drive as standard, the Chassis Cab delivers signature Ranger off-road capability.
The New Ranger Chassis Cab can be further enhanced with a range of Ford Special Vehicle Options, including a trailer tow electrical connector, high-performance batteries for increased electrical loads, and an interface to link conversions and vehicle signals – for example, to prevent a tipper body from operating unless the vehicle is parked and in neutral.
