Access All Areas.

Transit Connect is now available as a plug-in hybrid. Easier city access and lower cost of operation meets trusted Transit capability and practicality. With outstanding electric range of up to 73 miles*. Max payload 741kg. And a gutsy 350 Nm of peak torque in Sport mode††.

The Plug-in hybrid (PHEV) new Ford Transit Connect is also eligible for the Government's plug-in van grant (PiVG).

The PiVG provides up to £2,500 off the list price of the short wheel base (SWB), and £5,000 off the list price of the long wheel base (LWB) variants. For full T&C's see here.

EV Drive Modes

Transit Connect Plug-In Hybrid has four EV drive modes to help maximise driving range.

  • EV Now for electric-only driving, ideal for low emissions zones
  • EV Auto supports the electric motor with engine power when needed
  • EV Later conserves electric power for later use
  • EV reserve saves a user defined level of electric power for later use

Connected Charging

Use the FordPass app to monitor your PHEV battery levels, view charging status, schedule and monitor home charging, and view remaining charge times.

On the vehicle's digital instrument cluster you can monitor current EV usage and remaining battery range.

Cabin Preconditioning

Set your perfect cabin conditions before you drive.

With preconditioning you can heat or cool the cabin while Transit Connect is charging. So, you can head off with a full charge at your perfect temperature.

Advanced technology for a premium experience

A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster is standard across the range with a configurable main display flanked by secondary vehicle information. This is combined with a 10‑inch colour central touchscreen with available Connected Navigation^ to create a stylish and productive digital cockpit.

Drivers who use a work phone for navigation or to contact customers benefit from wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, with wireless device charging on Limited and Active series. Charging larger equipment such as laptops or tools on-the-go is also easy, as USB-C ports in the cab offer up to 45 watts of power.

A rear-view camera and Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert are standard on high-series models for even greater driver confidence when manoeuvring*, and as on the all-new Transit Custom, Exit Warning can help to prevent “dooring” incidents with other unsighted road users*.

Powered Up

There's two handy 12V sockets in the cabin and load compartment, ideal for charging tools.

In the cabin you have two 45W USB-C charging sockets to keep your devices topped up too.
