You can charge a plug-in hybrid or electric vehicle at home by plugging into a standard domestic power socket, or a Smart Home Charger for faster home charging speeds.
Compared to a standard power socket, a Smart Home Charger offers faster charging speeds, so you can ensure your electrified vehicles are always charged and ready to work whenever you want. Additionally, you can use Ford Pro Telematics or the FordPass Pro app to view charging information.
It's easy to charge an electrified vehicle using a standard household socket. All you need is the home charging cable and a socket within reach. It's not the fastest way to charge but you'll usually be able to leave your vehicle to charge at home overnight or while you’re working on-site, so you’re always ready to drive. You don’t need any additional equipment, so it’s an accessible and cost-effective way to get charging.
