A new range of Protection Shields has been added to Ford's official accessories range to help Ford Transit and Tourneo occupants as they maintain social distancing inside the cabin.

Designed as a practical barrier between the driver and their passengers in addition to assisting businesses with any social distancing guidelines
Shields for the Transit Van, Transit Minibus, and Transit / Tourneo Custom models are available from late July through Allen Ford, Essex Ford and SMC Ford dealerships and Transit Centres
The adjustable and configurable shields can be fitted, adjusted or removed swiftly
They have been created with the intention of being used for public transport, transferring medical patients, school and private hire and are fully compatible with existing safety features (such as airbags)

After the impermeable, washable, transparent PVC shields have been installed, they do not adversely affect comfort, interior space or heating and ventilation. The see-through screens still let the driver see the windscreen, side windows and mirrors, and passengers can still communicate as normal too.
