Frequently Asked Questions
How Long Will The Repair Take?
The nature of body repairs means most repairs have a minimum duration of 5 days. Any quotation for repair duration is subject to change and will always be dependent on replacement parts availability.
Do I Need To Pay Anything?
If we are repairing your vehicle based on a private estimate, the parts must be paid for beforehand and if a third party is involved, we do need full payment before we start the repair.
If we are repairing your vehicle on behalf of your insurers, we are required by them to collect any policy excess payment prior to releasing the vehicle to you (we will advise you of any excess payments required before and during the repair).
NB: If you are VAT-registered, you will be liable for the VAT element of the repair.
Will I Get a Courtesy Vehicle?
Depending on your contract of insurance, some companies require us to supply a courtesy vehicle. We will advise you of this and we will need to see your driving licence (original, not copies) and, since the abolition of the paper counterpart, we will require your National Insurance number and current postcode.
We are only obliged to provide small vehicles. If this is not satisfactory, please contact / liaise with your insurers. If you are not entitled to a courtesy vehicle, we can put you on to a local hire car company where you will benefit from preferential rates.
If you travel across the Dartford crossings, you will be responsible for the charge of £2.50 (per crossing). This will need to be paid to us on the return of the vehicle. If further charges are occurred, then they will also be applied.

Yes – we guarantee all of our workmanship for 3 years and are happy to discuss any concerns you may have about your repair be it private or via your insurance.

Charges applicable for vehicles not repaired or removed from our Accident Repair Centre:
Storage – Any vehicle will incur storage charges from the first day on site at £25 +VAT per day until the vehicle is removed
Estimate – £45 +VAT charge applicable if the vehicle is deemed to be a total loss by your insurer or you choose to remove the vehicle to your own chosen repairer
Admin – £35 +VAT charge will apply if the vehicle is deemed to be a total loss by your insurer or you choose to remove the vehicle to your own chosen repairer
