Milton Keynes Kia is teaming up with Zoom EV so you can rent plug-in hybrids and electric vehicles from us!
Zoom EV aims to enable the flexible use of electric vehicles, provide the best EV benefits to drivers, and reduce CO2 emissions from transportation. Not only do they help to reduce carbon emissions, they also donate 10% of their profits to removing ocean plastic.
In our collaboration with them, they enable the borrowing of our fully electric (BEV) and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) by people and businesses amongst their EV sharing community.
All EVs are covered by Zoom EV's insurance & breakdown policies. All our vehicles are covered by commercial insurance provided by NIG, part of the Direct Line Group. You do not need to take out any additional insurance.
You can book an EV or PHEV from as little as 1 hour up to 31 days, but you must book the EV at least 4 hours before your desired collection time.
There are many reasons why it makes perfect sense to rent an EV from us via Zoom EV.
If you're looking to experience an EV for while to learn how it suits your lifestyle, then this is an ideal way to try before you buy by helping the environment whilst saving money and driving great vehicles.
If you want to drive in a clean air zone (CAZ) for a short while (e.g., a business trip or holiday), then renting an EV will help save you money on fees and sometimes even on parking.
There are many benefits to choosing an electric car. These include the reduced impact on the environment, fewer (if any) fees for driving in clean air zones (e.g., London's ULEZ), cheaper running costs and, often, a more dynamic drive.
Considerations include the availability of charging points in your local area, and whether you have a driveway or garage that makes home charging easy, or whether you rely on on-street parking.
This are all aspects of the driving and ownership experience you can try when you rent an EV.
