Dear Friends & Customers,
Given recent events we have, of course, been closely monitoring the impact that COVID-19 has been having on the population at large, our customers, staff and business partners. As such, we have been following the guidance from our government to the letter.
While I am incredibly grateful to our excellent employees, who have been working hard to continue to serve you safely in such a serious situation, it has become increasingly clear that maintaining safe social distancing policies and procedures whilst operating our dealerships is growing more and more difficult and therefore we have taken the decision to temporarily close every one of our showrooms.
We have not taken this decision lightly but we feel that everyone must heed the Government’s latest message that all citizens and businesses should do whatever is in their power to protect those who are most vulnerable in our society and do their utmost to ensure that the NHS has the key workers and capacity to care for the increasing number of people affected by COVID-19.
Allen Motor Group’s Sales departments are closed until further notice. Our Service departments are open in selected locations to operate a reduced service to support key workers (e.g. police, NHS staff) and / or other emergency breakdowns and repairs. Customers with existing bookings for services, repairs and / or MOTs will be contacted shortly to rearrange their bookings.
Our staff will be offering as much support as possible to key workers and those supporting the most vulnerable by keeping them safe and mobile during this time.
We would like to thank our customers and colleagues for their patience and understanding over the last few weeks as we have been tackling such challenging trading conditions.
Over the coming days, Allen Motor Group will work to meet our customers’ needs and look after everyone’s welfare. As these circumstances are unprecedented and potentially unpredictable, we will be learning how best to serve our customers and look after customers and colleagues each week with a view to returning to our full services in the near future.
