Motability Operations Ltd, the company responsible for the Motability Scheme, has announced that it is currently unable to accept any new orders because of the challenges presented by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. The charity has said that it is monitoring the situation and will advise when this changes.
If you are coming to the end of your current lease, Motability Operations Ltd will extend this automatically for 6 months to help keep you mobile. Motability Operations Ltd has given assurances that you will continue to be insured too, so there is no need to contact them.
Motability Operations Ltd also said: “The RAC will continue to offer an emergency breakdown service. RSA Motability (RSAM) will be able to handle insurance claims, but please be prepared for longer calling times than usual.”
While Allen Motor Group’s Sales departments are closed until further notice during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, our Service departments in selected locations are open with a skeleton staff to run a reduced service to support key workers (e.g. police, NHS staff) and / or other emergency breakdowns & repairs.
