While fans of motorsport have had to make do with old footage of classic racing or “esports” (competitive video games), Formula One drivers themselves have been forced to either keep themselves active or face being driven up the wall. Fortunately, several of them have posted their fitness regimes and slightly unorthodox exercises on social media.
Despite petrolheads already likely to miss out on grand prix in Vietnam, China, The Netherlands, Spain, Monaco, Azerbaijan, Canada and France (with current plans aiming to start the season in Austria in early July), the likes of Kimi Raikkonen bouncing back and forth of trampolines and George Russell building neck muscles with the “Egyptian Mummy Neck Plank” to Lando Norris attempting the Spin Challenge and Daniel Ricciardo tesing his hand-eye coordination with a water bottle.
You could copy Kimi in your backyard, right?
Could George sleep standing up?
Fortunately, Lando Norris has a better sense of stability on the track.
