Ford Partners With RideLondon 2023

Essex Ford and SMC Ford will be helping charge the EV convoy for the event.

Ford has become the title partner of RideLondon, one of the world’s greatest festivals of cycling, taking place on Sunday 28th May 2023.

Essex Ford Dunton, SMC Slough and SMC Uxbridge will be helping to charge the EV fleet which will act as a convoy for the event. Last year the Ford Mustang Mach-E was the Official Electric Vehicle as part of the RideLondon Classique support fleet.

Ford’s partnership with RideLondon is supported by the manufacturer’s Park the Car campaign, which encourages drivers to leave their car at home for short journeys and to cycle instead.

The partnership will also see Ford support RideLondon FreeCycle’s Led Ride scheme.

The Led Rides will come from all 32 of the London boroughs, encouraging people to cycle the short distance into the city centre. It is the perfect way for new or inexperienced cyclists – or those lacking confidence cycling on roads – to join the ride.
