Ford's ultimate pick-up, the Ranger Raptor Special Edition, is set to arrive in October 2021 in limited numbers, with striking design upgrades inside and out!
The Ranger Raptor Special Edition delivers everything we love about the original Ranger Raptor; high-speed off-road performance and extreme capabilities, now with bigger tyres, wider track, taller ride height, and dramatic styling to further emphasise the pick-up’s “bad-ass” character.Developed by Ford Performance as the ultimate Ranger model, the Ranger Raptor Special Edition pick-up is powered by the same 2.0-litre EcoBlue bi-turbo diesel engine that’s seen on the standard Ranger model, delivering 500 Nm of torque. It comes paired to a 10-speed automatic gearbox, shared with the Ford Mustang, and four-wheel drive with Terrain Management System which automatically adjusts driving dynamics to best match the type of road conditions encountered.
The suspension uses double wishbones at the front and multi-link architecture at the back. The all-terrain tyres are General Grabber AT3, offering improved traction on loose surfaces.
The pick-up truck will be available in Performance Blue, Conquer Grey, or Frozen White with bold twin black matte racing stripes edged with red contrast lines that run along the front bonnet, lower body sides, roof, rear wings and tailgate. While the two front tow hooks sport a red painted finish, the flared wheel arches, front and rear bumpers, door handles, and signature Ford-embossed grille feature a matte black finish to create an even more ‘imposing appearance’ than the standard Raptor’s grey exterior details.

Inside the Special Edition’s double cab is a luxurious, sporty interior with high-grain leather seats and contrasting red stitching on the steering wheel, instrument panel and door cards, with an exclusive Raceway Grey instrument panel.
