EBC Brakes, a Northampton-based, independently owned and managed leader in the brake market, took it upon themselves to build the 'ultimate Fiesta', with the end product being raffled off at the start of 2021 (details of the raffle can be found further down the page).
Starting with the already-impressive 180PS Fiesta ST, purchased from Allen Ford Northampton & collected by Adam Freeman, EBC Brakes' Product Development Manager, they have certainly held true to their goal!
The car is now running at around 370bhp on a 'safe map', but achieved a peak figure of 401bhp on the dyno after a complete overhaul of the 1.6 EcoBoost engine by performance specialists Pumaspeed.
Work included fitting uprated cams, injectors, turbo & clutch, an R-Sport intercooler, a Cusco limited slip differential & full Milltek exhaust system.
The Fiesta's suspension was fully uprated and, of course, EBC fitted one of their 'floating disc' big brake kits so it could actually stop safely after using all that extra power!

A full custom wrap courtesy of Yiannimize has really bought the Fiesta to life visually, highlighting the performance roots plus multiple sponsors and contributors along the way.
EBC told us:
"We are continuing to modify all aspects of the car and will be giving it away in a charity raffle at the start of 2021. All proceeds will go towards the Rays of Sunshine charity. People can express their interest in this competition now by heading to https://ebcbrakes.comultimatefiestabuild/"
They also have a YouTube playlist documenting the entire build so far, which can be found here.
